: Summaries The Hong Kong police are hunting a counterfeiting gang led by a mastermind code-named “Painter”. In order to crack the true identity of him, the police recruits gang member Lee Man to unmask “Painter’s” secret identity.

Filming began on 15 May 2017 and was theatrically released on 30 September 2018 in China and on 4 October 2018 in Hong Kong.

Project Gutenberg was a critical and commericial success, grossing a total of US$158.88 million worldwide, and winning seven awards at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
